Senior Property Lawyer
Seeking a motivated and experienced Senior Property Lawyer to join a growing property practice in Sydney CBD.

Our client is a highly reputable firm with a long-standing presence in property law based in Sydney CBD.
  
About the Role: 
This role is a newly created position, therefore there is a significant scope to take full ownership of the role and bring your expertise to the practice. This position offers plenty of autonomy and responsibility.
  
This permanent full time role offers the opportunity to showcase your expertise in leasing, conveyancing and property law, while thriving in a small firm environment that values hard work, results and a collaborative culture.  

Key responsibilities: 

• Managing your own file load from instruction to completion (under supervision if you are a paralegal)
• Reviewing and drafting lease documents 
• Negotiating lease terms  
• Acting for both the Landlord and Tenant  
• Client reporting  
• Managing deadlines and administration 

Requirements: 

• Possess a minimum of 7 years of property law experience, preferably in major property transactions
• Have excellent knowledge of conveyancing transactions and property law generally
• Be capable of working autonomously with minimum supervision as well as part of a team
• Be familiar with transacting on PEXA
• Have a commercial mindset and prioritise client satisfaction
• Excel in a fast-paced environment with the ability to meet tight deadlines
• Exhibit exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail
