About the role
We are seeking an experienced Billing Coordinator to take ownership of billing and revenue processes for our Corporate & Commercial practice.
This is a specialist billing role. The focus of the role is ensuring accurate, timely and well‑managed billing for a busy corporate transactions and advisory practice, working closely with Partners and fee earners to support month‑end cycles, client expectations and firm revenue outcomes.
Key responsibilities
You will have end‑to‑end responsibility for billing, including:
- Proactively managing time recording and billing timelines
- Ensuring charge‑out rates and matter billing set‑up are accurate
- Preparing and analysing WIP reports
- Producing pre‑bills and coordinating amendments
- Finalising and issuing invoices
- Liaising with Partners, clients and Finance on billing queries
- Supporting compliance with client billing requirements and systems
- Limited general administrative support may be required from time to time; however, this role is fundamentally focused on billing and revenue coordination.

You will bring:
- Demonstrated experience in legal or professional services billing
- Strong numeracy skills and confidence with billing systems (Aderant / Expert preferred)
- Excellent communication skills and a professional, confident manner
- High attention to detail and strong organisational capability
