About the team
Our Planning & Environment team is engaged in a wide range of litigation, advisory and contractual matters across a diverse client range spanning both the public and private sectors. With the team continuing to grow in volume and breadth of work, as well as being known for their success and supportive culture, it is an exciting time to join.
About the role
The practice enjoys a balance between top-level State Government and Council clients, and private sector clients. You will work on a wide range of matters for a sophisticated and growing client base. Types of matters you will work on include:
- Land and Environment Court litigation;
- Advice on issues such as permissibility, statutory interpretation of planning instruments, development contributions, environmental law compliance, contamination;
- Drafting planning agreements and works in kind agreement.
About you
You will have at least 6 years PAE, with a background in Land and Environment Court litigation, as well as excellent legal research, advisory and drafting skills. You will have a critical eye for detail, accuracy and precision in legal reasoning and writing.
