IT Project Manager - Retail POS Transformation
 
We are looking for an experienced IT Project Manager with extensive experience in Retail and POS - to lead and manage the technology-delivery of new cloud based platform for a large retail business.
This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with strong Retails and POS technology experience - to manage and implement a number of changes across their business. You will primarily manage a number of professional services and specialist providers, to deliver business strategic goals to help change the way customers are engaged, whilst delivering significant market spend, driving business revenue.
This role of IT Project Manager - Retail POS Transformation - will support the Program Manager to ensure projects are delivered to scope, budget and schedule expectations.
Key responsibilities will be including, but not limited to the following:

• Coordinate timelines for all technology deliverables, and manage each through completion and delivery to the program
• Identify and resolve issues or roadblocks that could impact schedule, costs, or quality
• Work with external vendors including service provider, training partners and suppliers to achieve best outcomes
• Partner with Change Management, HR and Communication leads to deliver a successful workplace transformation program
• Assist the Program Manager with reporting to Executive sponsor and steering committee

The role:

• Role based in Sydney CBD
• 6 month contract

 
You must have:

• Strong experience in a Technical Project Manager or Delivery Manager role
• Previous experience of Retail ERP platforms or POS systems in a large corporate or commercial environment
• Must have experience building and driving relationships with external partners
• A proactive and pragmatic approach with a strong bias to action
• An ability to manage competing priorities and to collaboratively engage with multiple stakeholders
• Ability to engage and build relationships with stakeholders at all levels
• Excellent communication, presentation skills with attention to detail
