expertech is currently recruiting for a Managed Services Provider (MSP) based in Manly, NSW, delivering tailored, high-quality IT solutions to small and medium-sized businesses across Sydney and internationally. 
We are urgently seeking an experienced IT Helpdesk Technician with a strong MSP background to join our team. This is a full-time, on-site role based at our Manly office, with regular travel to client sites across the North Shore and Northern Beaches. Essential skills and experience

• Minimum 3 years of IT support experience, ideally in an MSP or IT service provider environment
• Strong technical knowledge of Microsoft Windows desktop and server environments
• Proven experience supporting Microsoft 365 and Azure Active Directory
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (desktop to firewall)
• Familiarity with cloud-hosted environments and Terminal Services
• Hands-on experience with backup systems and RMM tools (e.g., Datto RMM)
• Proficient in the use of ticketing systems (e.g., Halo PSA or similar)
• Exceptional diagnostic and troubleshooting skills - both remote and onsite
• Excellent communication skills - written and verbal\
• NSW driver's licence and ideally reliable vehicle
• Eligible working rights to work in Australia

Desirable skills and experience 

• ITIL knowledge or certification
• Industry certifications (Microsoft, CompTIA, etc.)
• Experience with 3CX or VoIP systems
• Familiarity with Apple (Mac/iOS) environments
• Previous project implementation experience
• Awareness of cybersecurity best practices
• Vendor management experience
