Scrum Master - Azure Cloud

A Scrum Master is required for a leading organization undergoing a major digital transformation, and we are looking for an experienced Scrum Master with expertise in legacy systems migration to Azure Cloud. As we continue to evolve, you will play a pivotal role in driving agile practices, ensuring smooth delivery, and facilitating the transition of our legacy applications and systems to Azure Cloud.

Scrum Master - Azure Cloud Role Overview:
As a Scrum Master, you will lead cross-functional teams in a fast-paced and collaborative environment. Your primary focus will be on managing agile processes, guiding teams through their Agile journeys, and helping us successfully migrate legacy systems to the Azure Cloud platform.

Key Responsibilities:

• Agile Facilitation: Lead and facilitate Scrum ceremonies (Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Retrospectives, etc.) for teams working on legacy system to Azure migration projects.
• Cloud Migration Support: Collaborate with product owners, technical teams, and cloud architects to ensure the smooth migration of legacy applications and systems to the Azure Cloud.
• Stakeholder Management: Act as the main point of contact for stakeholders, ensuring timely communication of progress, risks, and issues.
• Continuous Improvement: Promote and guide the team in the application of Agile principles, continuous delivery, and process optimization to ensure smooth execution of the migration.
• Team Coaching: Coach and mentor teams in Agile best practices, and foster a culture of accountability, ownership, and self-organization.
• Issue Resolution: Remove any obstacles or impediments preventing the team from meeting their goals and deliverables, ensuring a smooth delivery pipeline.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including development, QA, and operations, to ensure seamless collaboration and alignment across the migration initiatives.

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Scrum Master, preferably with experience in managing cloud migration projects (specifically legacy to Azure Cloud).
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.) and hands-on experience in applying these frameworks.
• Experience with Azure Cloud services (Azure DevOps, Virtual Machines, App Services, Storage, etc.) and understanding of legacy system migration strategies.
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or similar certification (SAFe, PMI-ACP, etc.).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, with a proactive approach to resolving issues.
• Ability to work in a hybrid working model, balancing remote and in-office work as needed.
• Strong understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.

Desirable Skills:

• Experience with Azure migration tools like Azure Migrate, or similar platforms.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or ARM templates.
• Familiarity with legacy system architecture and migration challenges.
