For over 100 years The Leprosy Mission Australia (TLMA) has partnered with Australians to ensure that people affected by leprosy across the world get the cure, care, and restoration they need to live life in all its fullness. As part of a global network comprised of 30 Members, they are working together to reach their goal of zero leprosy transmission by 2035. The Leprosy Mission extends the hand of ‘mateship’ to those affected by leprosy, disability and other marginalised people. Their supported programs are on the ground in India, Nepal, Nigeria, Indonesia, and Timor Leste.
Reporting to the Fundraising and Communications Lead, the Campaigns Coordinator plays a key role in connecting supporters and donors to the heart of TLMA’s work through unforgettable multi-channel fundraising campaigns. This newly created role will collaborate across teams to deliver campaigns that inspire generosity and deepen engagement.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing strategic fundraising campaigns and appeals
- Crafting compelling donor communications and managing campaign performance
- Collaborating with internal teams and external suppliers to deliver high-impact direct marketing initiatives
- Mapping and enhancing the supporter journey to increase retention and lifetime value
- Leveraging data insights and AI tools to optimise campaign effectiveness and donor engagement
About YOU
- Aligned with the Christian vision, mission and values of The Leprosy Mission Australia
- At least 3+ years’ experience in fundraising or direct marketing
- Strong grasp of donor development and supporter journey best practices
- Expertise in direct marketing principles including ROI goals, testing and segmentation
- Proven ability to craft compelling fundraising stories and appeals
- Strong writing skills and understanding of donor psychology
- Digitally savvy, with a mindset for innovation and continuous improvement
- Excellent project management, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Experience with donor databases such as Dynamics 365, Salesforce, or Blackbaud.
