Founded in 1989, the Royal Children’s Hospital (RCH) Foundation is the fundraising arm of the Royal Children’s Hospital, one of the world’s leading children’s hospitals. The RCH Foundation has the vital role of raising and distributing donated funds to the hospital, enabling the very best patient, family care and support, as well as and saving and improving the lives of our sickest children. While a legally separate organisation, the RCH Foundation works closely with the RCH in achieving its vision.

Reporting to the Manager, Marketing and Supporter Relations, the Fundraising Database Lead is primarily responsible for donor database reporting, analysis, functionality, security and integrity that will contribute to high quality outcomes for the Foundation’s important work.
  
The position leads and plans the work of the Database Team in growing and maintaining the integrity of the database; designing and developing new functionality for the Salesforce database; updating and securing data; recording financial transactions and preparing reports on donor activity.
  
​About YOU​

• 5+ years’ working in data analysis and managing a CRM database (preferably Salesforce)
• Demonstrated experience in producing analysis and reporting from a CRM, and interpreting data with actionable insights and recommendations
• Advanced computer literacy, including Microsoft Office suite
• Experience leading and motivating a small team of data professionals
• Strong time management skills in a deadline driven environment with competing priorities
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with extensive experience in managing external technical support and development suppliers
• A true champion for database management and data integrity   
• Commitment to the values of the Foundation: Integrity, Gratitude, Innovation and Excellence
• Desirable, experience working in the Not-For-Profit, health or philanthropic organization
• A degree or diploma in a data or information-related subject (preferred)
