The Role Managing your own caseload, you will be responsible for delivering services to our clients in the community. You will support a culture of positive engagement within the team and develop an environment of knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
As a Occupational Therapist, you will be able to implement innovative solutions and strategies to support your clients to achieve their goals and be able to produce high quality reports within the required timeframes. You will be able to work independently and show commitment to evidence informed and person-centered practice.
Occupational Therapists who have skills in these areas will be highly regarded:
- Home Modifications
- Assistive Technology prescription
- NDIS Assessments and Reports (Functional Assessments, Housing and Support Needs Assessments)
- Mentorship of new graduates
Do you have what it takes? We are looking for someone that is passionate about making a difference in the lives of our people. You must also have:
- Relevant degree in Occupational Therapy
- At least 4 years clinical practice experience as an Occupational Therapist
- Experience as an Occupational Therapist in a community setting
- Registration with AHPRA
- Police Check Clearance
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong time-management and organisational skills and attention to detail
