The Position
Due to continuous growth, we are seeking a Nursing Scheduler to join our team. Based at our office in the brand-new Morris Moor complex, this full-time opportunity forms an important part of our head office team.
Reporting to the Community Support Team Leader, you will work in our Nursing Community Support Team and be responsible for:
- Schedule and coordinate in-home nursing appointments for aged care and NDIS clients.
- Process, onboard, and intake new clients.
- Match staff qualifications and skills to meet client needs.
- Monitor nurses’ schedules daily and respond to requests for schedule updates, cancellations, and manage unplanned leave.
- Address potential delays and implement schedule changes as needed.
- Liaise with clients, carers, and both internal and external stakeholders on a daily basis.
- Update and enter data and information into our scheduling program, AlayaCare.
Do you have what it takes? We are looking for someone with a high degree of initiative, that takes ownership of their work and demonstrates a "can do" attitude. You will have an enthusiastic and proactive attitude, be outcome focused and dedicated to delivering an exceptional service to our clients. You must have:
- Experience in scheduling, including mapping, planning, and confirming efficient daily routes (not just appointment clustering)
- Dependable, professional, and genuinely committed to contributing positively to the team.
- Capability to quickly adapt and manage time effectively while learning our systems and processes.
- Proven experience in customer service, including the ability to manage high call volumes effectively.
- Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Familiarity with medical, healthcare or home care services is a plus
- Solid Computer Skills – Microsoft Office & Database Management
