We’re partnering with an established New Zealand business to appoint a Site Operations Manager to lead their manufacturing site.

Reporting to the NZ Operations Manager, you’ll oversee the Manufacturing Manager and take responsibility for production performance, KPIs, resourcing, site standards, maintenance and continuous improvement.

You’ll be a visible leader who stays close to the operation, solves problems quickly and keeps production moving. You’ll also support key projects and have the genuine opportunity for career progression in the near future.

What you will do

• Lead daily manufacturing and production performance
• Monitor KPIs, production targets and resourcing
• Oversee site compliance, maintenance and equipment
• Drive continuous improvement and operational projects
• Support the NZ Operations Manager and wider leadership team

What we’re looking for

• Proven manufacturing or production leadership experience
• Strong people leadership and communication skills
• Practical, adaptable and solutions-focused
• Comfortable working with KPIs, targets and changing priorities
• Professional, approachable and willing to learn
• Mechanical/plant knowledge is advantageous
• A leader who is collaborative, grounded and keen to develop.

Hours
Monday–Friday, generally 6.00am–2.30pm, with some flexibility.
