Our partner is a well-established manufacturer supplying essential products to customers across Australia and beyond. As they continue to strengthen their supply chain capability, they are seeking a superstar Supply Planner to play a key role in balancing supply, inventory and customer demand.

What you will do
Reporting into the Supply Chain team, you will take ownership of supply planning activities, ensuring products are available to meet customer demand while maintaining optimal inventory levels.
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop and maintain supply plans to support customer demand and inventory objectives.
- Manage replenishment planning across manufacturing sites, suppliers and external manufacturing partners.
- Monitor inventory performance and identify opportunities to optimise stock levels and working capital.
- Analyse supply constraints and develop mitigation plans to minimise supply risk.
- Work closely with Production, Procurement, Customer Service, Sales and Logistics to ensure alignment across the supply chain.
- Support Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) by providing supply planning insights and recommendations.
- Maintain planning parameters and master data within SAP.
- Utilise advanced Excel-based planning models to support reporting and decision-making.
- Lead inventory reporting, stocktake activities and variance investigations.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives that enhance planning effectiveness and operational performance.
- Support the organisation's transition towards a more MRP-driven planning environment.
What we are looking for We're looking for someone who enjoys solving complex planning challenges and thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Ideally you will bring: - Proven experience in a Supply Planner or similar planning role within manufacturing.
- Strong understanding of MRP and supply planning principles.
- Experience using SAP, particularly MRP functionality.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with the ability to analyse and interpret complex data.
- Experience balancing inventory, customer service and operational requirements.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and organisational skills.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders across multiple functions.
- The ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Experience within chemical manufacturing, industrial manufacturing or another process manufacturing environment will be highly regarded.
- A tertiary qualification in Supply Chain, Business or a related discipline is preferred.
