Scitex Recruitment is proud to be partnering with a respected New Zealand manufacturer to appoint an experienced Warehouse Store person to join their operations team.
This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a well-established organization operating within a GMP-regulated manufacturing environment, where quality, safety and continuous improvement are at the forefront of everything they do.
As a key member of the warehouse team, you will be responsible for the accurate receipt, storage, and distribution of materials, ensuring production requirements are met while maintaining inventory integrity and compliance with GMP standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and accurately store incoming materials and finished goods
- Pick, pack, and issue materials to production in line with manufacturing schedules
- Maintain accurate inventory records using the company's ERP system
- Perform stock control activities, including cycle counts and stock reconciliation
- Safely operate reach and counterbalance forklifts
- Ensure all warehouse activities comply with GMP, Health & Safety and quality procedures
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient warehouse environment
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across warehouse operations
About You To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate a strong commitment to accuracy, quality, and safe working practices, along with previous experience within a manufacturing warehouse environment.
You will bring: - Previous warehouse or stores experience within a manufacturing environment
- Essential: Experience working within a GMP-regulated manufacturing environment
- Strong computer literacy with experience using ERP or Warehouse Management Systems
- Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- Current forklift license with both reach and counterbalance experience (F endorsement preferred)
- Full, clean New Zealand driver's license
- Good physical fitness, including the ability to lift up to 25kg when required
- A proactive approach, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively within a collaborative team
