As a specialist recruitment partner, Scitex is working with a well-established manufacturing company based in Mount Maunganui to recruit a Quality Assurance Officer on a fixed-term contract. This role will suit someone with some QA experience who enjoys being involved in day-to-day production activities and working closely with operational teams.

You will be supporting operators, ensuring quality standards are maintained, and helping the business meet its compliance and documentation requirements.

Key responsibilities:

• Conduct routine quality checks and verification activities on the production floor
• Work closely with operators to ensure procedures and quality standards are followed
• Complete QA documentation and maintain accurate records
• Assist with investigations into quality issues and support corrective actions
• Support internal audits and general compliance activities
• Help maintain food safety standards

About you:

• Experience in a Quality Assurance or Quality Control role within a manufacturing environment (food, pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, or similar)
• Comfortable spending time on the production floor and engaging with operators
• Good attention to detail and strong documentation skills
• A reliable team player with a practical, hands-on approach
• Good communication skills and the confidence to raise quality issues when needed
