Our client is a well-established leader in the flour and grain milling industry, we are seeking a motivated and reliable Production operator to join their production team in Otahuhu.
This role is ideal for someone with at least 2 years’ experience in FMCG or manufacturing who is eager to take on a practical, hands-on position with excellent training and strong long-term career prospects. If you are physically fit, mechanically inclined, and ready to grow your skills, we want to hear from you.
You will receive comprehensive training across the production process, learning to operate automated systems, manage raw materials, and support the production of high-quality flour-based products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Measure, weigh, and blend raw materials including grains and brans
- Assist with bagging, palletizing, and stacking finished product
- Conduct basic quality checks and complete shift documentation
- Operate forklifts to move materials around the site (if licensed)
- Clean and maintain work areas in line with food safety standards
- Support general manufacturing and production duties as required
About you:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a manufacturing or FMCG environment
- Physically fit and able to perform manual handling tasks
- A forklift license is highly preferred (or willingness to obtain one)
- Basic computer literacy and ability to follow written instructions
- Strong attention to detail and a safety-first attitude
- Willingness to work night shifts and occasional overtime
- Eagerness to learn, take direction, and grow within the business

Hours of work:
This position will provide cover across all three shifts for a minimum of 40 hours per week. You standard shift will be 06.00am - 2.30pm with an expectation that you will be flexible to work the afternoon shift from 2.00pm - 10.30pm or night shift from 10.00pm to 06.00am as required.
