We are seeking a Micro Technician to assist in a critical hygiene project within a large-scale food manufacturing facility. This is a hands-on role suited for someone looking to grow their experience in food safety, GMP, and high-care production environments. You will support senior staff in maintaining strict hygiene and compliance standards while contributing to ingredient repacking processes.
  
Key Responsibilities

• Assist with hygiene and food safety procedures in a critical hygiene zone
• Support senior staff with batch documentation, verification records, and compliance checks
• Help monitor adherence to HACCP plans, allergen controls, traceability requirements, and contamination prevention standards
• Participate in on-floor verification and validation activities
• Support audit readiness and general compliance requirements
• Follow all GMP and food safety protocols

About You

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in food manufacturing or similar production environment
• Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, and high care/critical hygiene processes
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety
• Comfortable working in fast-paced production environments
• Good documentation, compliance awareness, and communication skills
• NZ citizen/resident or valid work visa required
