You will:

• Ensure compliance with regulatory and GFSI-recognised standards such as FSSC 22000, SQF, or BRC
• Oversee the Health and Safety program for the site
• Lead internal audits and ensure ongoing readiness for external audits and inspections
• Monitor hygiene, health, and contamination risk controls across production
• Own root cause analysis from audits, near misses, and customer complaints
• Analyse complaint trends and drive continuous improvement initiatives
• Provide technical guidance to operations to identify and manage food safety and quality risks
• Build strong, practical relationships with operators to embed quality into daily work

About you

• Experience in a senior quality role within FMCG or food manufacturing
• Strong working knowledge of Quality Management Systems and GFSI standards
• Confident making balanced decisions that consider both commercial outcomes and quality integrity
• Able to work autonomously and take true ownership of site quality
• Practical communicator who works with production teams to achieve results
• Experience with audits, MPI requirements, and compliance systems
