Our client, a successful New Zealand-owned medical device manufacturing business, is looking for a reliable and physically capable Production Technician to join their team.

This is a practical, floor-based role focused on operating production equipment, handling raw materials and chemicals, and supporting day-to-day manufacturing within a cleanroom GMP environment. 

About the role

• Monday to Friday roster, plus every second Saturday onsite (receiving time and a half on Saturdays)
• 45+ hours per week during peak periods
• Regular lifting of up to 25kg, including bags of salt, jerry cans, and other materials
• Working safely with chemicals and production equipment
• Following strict cleanroom, safety, and GMP procedures

About you

• Experience in GMP manufacturing or production, ideally involving physical work or chemical handling
• Comfortable working in a hands-on, physically active role
• Able to follow processes, safety procedures, and quality standards
• Good attention to detail and reliability
• Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and strong work ethic

Experience in regulated or high-care manufacturing environments such as medical device, pharmaceutical, laboratory, or food production will be an advantage.
