At Scitex, we’re partnering with a respected industry leader to help them appoint a National BDM Manager to drive growth across the New Zealand market. This role is perfect for a proven business development professional who thrives in technical environments, enjoys being customer-facing, and is motivated by winning major project-based work.
Our client is well known across healthcare, industrial, and commercial construction. Holding industry relationships with facility managers, project leads, and infrastructure decision-makers—especially within hospitals, prisons, and the organisations responsible for designing and building these critical environments will be key.
What you will do
- Lead national BD activity and grow market presence across NZ
- Build and manage relationships with consultants, contractors & facility managers
- Target hospital, prison, large infrastructure projects, and wholesalers using your network
- Generate new business and expand existing accounts through technical solutions
- Present proposals, tenders, drawings, and product recommendations
- Track pipeline, report on market trends & deliver on monthly sales targets
What we are looking for - Strong BD background with clear examples of generating and closing sales
- Existing relationships across hospitals, prisons & major facility build sectors is an advantage
- Experience in electrical, medical, construction, or technical project-based sectors
- Self-motivated, proactive, and commercially sharp – a true go-getter
- Exceptional communication, relationship-building & negotiation skills
- NZ driver’s licence and willingness to travel nationally
