We are partnering with a leading engineering consultancy to find a Senior Mechanical Engineer with a strong focus on dairy, food, or industrial processing. This is an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, supporting clients nationwide (and occasionally overseas) while leading a mechanical design team and seeing projects through from initial concept to commissioning.

What you will do

• Provide mechanical engineering leadership across design, build and commissioning projects
• Develop and coach Mechanical Design Engineers, including CAD/3D scanning expertise
• Conduct site surveys, develop processes for 3D scanning, and deliver on-site training
• Lead commissioning teams, develop operating instructions and train client teams
• Ensure projects meet technical, quality, timeline, and safety requirements

What we are looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical or Process Engineering (or similar)
• Experience in engineering and project management within dairy, food or pharma
• Strong design experience with CAD tools and creative problem solving
• Experience in design, build, installation and commissioning of industrial processes
• Committed to health & safety and environmental sustainability
