We're seeking a skilled Maintenance Fitter to support the reliability, safety, and performance of our client's manufacturing plant. In this hands-on role, you'll carry out mechanical maintenance, repairs, and improvements across a wide range of production equipment, while identifying opportunities to enhance plant efficiency and product quality.
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for routine servicing, troubleshooting, and reactive repairs. You will also be contributing to operational planning and supporting continuous improvement across the site.

What You'll Bring
- Mechanical maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment (e.g., fillers, conveyors, packaging and labelling machinery).
- Strong practical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive, positive attitude.
- Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively across departments.
- Good organisational skills with the ability to plan, prioritise, and manage tasks independently.
- Commitment to safe work practices and leading by example in Health & Safety.
Your Background - Fully qualified Fitter Turner, Mechanical Fitter, or Certified Engineer (completed apprenticeship).
- Ideally 5+ years' experience, preferably in GMP or similar regulated manufacturing.
- Skilled in preventative and breakdown maintenance of plant and facility equipment.
- Understanding of Health & Safety requirements and maintenance documentation.
- Strong problem-solving ability and a continuous improvement mindset
