At Scitex, we’re proud to be partnering with a valued client that is expanding its footprint into the North Island with a brand-new, world-class manufacturing facility in Auckland. This plant—currently being built—will play a critical role in delivering cutting-edge cancer diagnostic products to patients across the region.
We are seeking a Production Chemist who is passionate about improving patient outcomes and eager to be part of a high-growth environment. In this role, you’ll contribute directly to the precise manufacture of pharmaceutical products, working across rotating shifts that include night production and daytime preparation, materials management, facility compliance, and customer interaction.
Responsibilities:
- Precision manufacture of pharmaceuticals.
- Follow operational procedures within the Quality Management System.
- Update daily manufacturing and dispensing records.
- Communicate with customers regarding supply impacts as required.
- Report and address performance issues; support investigations and risk identification.
- Assist with reagent preparation and chemical testing.
- Work rotating shifts (Night shift: 12am–8am, Day shift 6:30am to 3pm)
Skills & Experience: - A science or pharmaceutical degree is required.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow SOPs precisely.
- Excellent organisational skills and confidence working to deadlines.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Proactive approach to problem-solving and issue resolution.
