THE GIG
This role sits right in the sweet spot between content and SEO. You'll spend most of your time creating, optimising and briefing content for some of Australia's most recognised and loved brands, while elevating and building on your technical SEO foundations across audits, indexing, schema, site health and best practice.
You'll be:
- Writing SEO-led content across blogs, category pages, collection pages, landing pages and eCommerce websites
- Creating content briefs that balance search intent, customer needs and brand voice
- Conducting keyword research and uncovering content opportunities
- Optimising existing content to improve organic performance
- Supporting technical SEO initiatives including indexing, audits, schema and site health reviews
- Using AI tools to support research, ideation and content workflows
- Collaborating with SEO account leads to bring SEO strategies to life
- Working across multiple brands and adapting your writing style to different audiences
This is where you level up your SEO content skills while building on the technical foundations that'll take you even further.
AND YOU?
You'll probably tick a fair few of these:
- 2-3+ years of experience in SEO, content marketing, copywriting or a related digital role
- A portfolio of SEO content work you're proud of and keen to talk through
- Strong writing skills and an understanding of how content contributes to organic performance
- Strong foundations in keyword research, search intent and on-page optimisation
- Exposure to technical SEO concepts like indexing, crawlability, site structure and schema
- Comfortable using Semrush, Ahrefs, Search Console or similar tools
- Experience across eCommerce, retail, lifestyle or content-heavy brands would be a big plus
- Agency experience? Amazing. But definitely not a dealbreaker.
- Curious about AI, GEO and where search is heading next
