We’re teaming up with the epic team at Entegy - a Brisbane-born SaaS biz shaking up the global events scene. Their platform transforms conferences, expos, and events into slick, seamless digital experiences - everything from simple in-app content to full-scale engagement and delivery.

This is a lean crew, building for scale. Fresh off a major replatforming, they’ve traded the old monolith for a clean, modular, modern codebase built for scale. The foundation is set. The future? Bright, exciting, and ready to move fast.
Now? We’re on the lookout for a hands-on Tech Lead to run the show and drive what comes next.

The GIG

This is a technical leadership role where you’ll still keep your hands in the code while steering the ship. You’ll lead a tight-knit team of seven engineers - shaping priorities, boosting delivery speed, and making sure the platform keeps evolving smoothly (without breaking things along the way).

But let’s be clear: This isn’t a strategic product role. It’s not a people-leadership heavy gig either. This isn’t about mapping a three-year roadmap or running performance reviews.

Instead? You’ll own the day-to-day delivery: keeping communication crisp, releases reliable, blockers cleared for your team, and bugs triaged - all while translating technical trade-offs into business terms that make sense.

You’ll be working side by side with the founding team to decide what’s worth building, why it matters, and how to make it happen - then rallying the dev team to deliver with confidence and clarity.

The Tech

• Backend: .NET Core / C#
• Frontend: Vue.js
• Infra: AWS (Lambda, RDS, S3), CI/CD pipelines
• Tooling: GitHub, Google Sheets (for now), HubSpot, support tooling

The codebase is in great shape - most of the legacy baggage is gone. The team is ISO certified, shipping to production a few times a week, and moving fast on feedback from both customers and support. Clean code, modern stack, rapid iteration - you’ll have a solid foundation built for speed and scale. 

What You’ll Be Doing

• Leading the charge with a crew of 6-7 engineers, running tight weekly delivery cycles.
• Owning impactful releases, small in scope, big in value, across the entire platform.
• Prioritising the essentials: bug fixes, performance improvements, and support escalations.
• Bringing structure and clarity by streamlining the release process - no more last-minute surprises.
• Leveling up communication between devs and the wider business so everyone stays in sync.
• Collaborating closely with the founder to shape priorities, explore prototypes, and decide what’s worth building.
• Coaching a capable team of mid + senior devs to step up, take ownership, and work with more autonomy.
• Driving backend and API improvements, leveraging a solid understanding of AWS to keep things running smoothly and scaling smart.

• Are confident in .NET backend architecture, API design, and cloud infra (AWS).
• Know enough front-end to guide, unblock, and steer the team (Vue preferred, but React/Angular works too).
