About the role

We’re on the lookout for a WordPress Developer to join this growing crew as they continue to kick goals.

As a WordPress Developer, you'll be working in a fast-paced agency delivering quality work to their clients, working closely with the Creative Director transforming beautiful Figma designs into functional websites for a range of businesses and creating repeatable components along the way to enhance development velocity.

The responsibilities of the role include

● Taking ownership of technical design and development, contributing to the
expansion of digital products and platforms.
● Collaborating with the Creative Director to develop seamless integration from
design to functionality.
● Developing custom WordPress themes, plugins, and features based on client
requirements.
● Optimizing website performance, ensuring responsiveness, speed, and
scalability.
● Staying abreast of industry trends and best practices to continuously enhance
our digital offerings.
● Multitasking through competing activities, handling conflicting projects and
deadlines.
● Be at the forefront with client communication, managing projects in development through to completion.
● Participating in team daily and weekly catch-ups.

We’re looking for someone with

● Experience with WordPress REST API and integrating external APIs into
WordPress projects.
● Solid knowledge with HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
● Knowledge with CSS frameworks, such as Bootstrap, and grid systems.
● Knowledge of PHP and experience with WordPress development.
● Knowledge with performance optimization techniques for WordPress websites.
● Experience with Gutenberg and Elementor is essential
● Strong, clear communication skills with clients and various stakeholders.
● Knowledge of project management systems such as Wrike.
