They’re on the hunt for a dynamic Staff Engineer to take their product discovery and delivery game to the next level. What’s the gig?

This isn’t your typical Staff Engineer role. At Epsilon, they don’t just build products – they discover them. You’ll work closely with the Product Trio (PMs and Designers) to identify what customers truly need, then move at lightning speed to make it happen.

Here’s what you’ll be doing:

• Experiment like crazy: Run fast, iterative experiments to test hypotheses and validate ideas. Think rapid cycles of build-measure-learn, all backed by data and customer insights.
• Build and deliver - fast, impactful development: You’ll constantly ship your ideas to production – no ivory tower architects here. We’re looking for someone who thrives on committing PRs and delivering meaningful functionality at breakneck speed.
• Prototype like a pro: Create pragmatic, working POCs that validate ideas without over-engineering.
• Discover and deliver: Partner closely with Product Managers and Designers to dive deep into customer pain points, shape solutions, and bring them to life.
• Lead by doing: As a hands-on IC, you’ll guide the team by example, demonstrating the hustle, speed, and quality it takes to succeed in a high-growth environment.

• Coding machine: You’ve got extensive experience delivering at scale, ideally in Golang, but other statically-typed languages like Java or C# could also work. You’re happiest when your hands are on the keyboard, pushing PRs and solving real problems.
• Discovery mindset: You’re all about product discovery – running experiments, building POCs, and iterating quickly based on customer feedback.
• Speed demon: You work fast without sacrificing quality, balancing the need for speed with smart technical decisions.
• Mentor by example: You lead by doing, inspiring your team with your work ethic, creativity, and ability to roll up your sleeves.
• Pragmatic design: You can design and implement solutions that are both robust and lightweight, knowing when to scale up and when to keep it simple.
