Short description:
This position is for a Datacenter Networking Enterprise Architect F5 that serves as a primary resource for F5 configuration, security, management, and troubleshooting for us.
 
Complete description:
This position is responsible for the configuration of F5 resources within the us. They must have thorough knowledge of the following F5 modules and their corresponding duties within our environment:

• The individual must be able to work with developers of different Agencies to confirm suggestions made by the F5 for different applications, requesting of certificates, and the implementation of any new learning suggestions before and during implementation.
• They will be responsible for maintaining their ticket queue within the Remedy Ticketing System utilized within us to maintain Service Level Agreements.
• They may also be asked to participate in troubleshooting and design meetings for different applications within us.
• Answers and make phone calls as necessary. Reads, comprehends, and complies with email messages in timely basis. Must be able to work at least two days-a-week onsite at the worksite address.
• Knowledge of Cloudflare is required.

 
Skills/Experience:

• F5 LTM Experience including Creation of VIP's (Virtual IP), Troubleshooting knowledge, Installation and renewal of Certificates, Irule creation and modification. - Required 3-5 years
• F5 GTM Experience including Wide IP's Created Required 3-5 years
• F5 ASM Experience including Creation of policies, Fine tuning of policies while in learning mode, Troubleshoot policies while placed after blocking mode, Monitor new learning suggestions Required 3-5 years
• F5 APM Experience including Creation of SAML policies, Troubleshoot the issues - Required 3-5 years
• F5 Device-level experience including Remediate CVEs, Ihealth/qkview knowledge, Open support ticket with F5 (last resort), Should be able to upgrade devices, Device clean up (unused objects), BIGIQ (for daily config back up from all devices) - Required 3-5 years
• Work cooperatively with others in a team environment to meet the expected levels of customer service. - Required 3-5 years
• Ability to operate information systems input devices. - Desired 3-5 years
• Ability to conduct training and informational sessions. - Desired 3-5 years
• Ability to understand and follow detailed written and oral instructions. - Required 3-5 years
• Ability to explain instructions and guidelines to others effectively. - Required 3-5 years
• Ability to communicate effectively. - Required 3-5 years
• Knowledge of data communications networks. - Required 3-5 years
• Knowledge of the methods and techniques used to operate and configure F5 systems- Required 3-5 years
• Ability to identify and resolve problems associated with F5 system malfunctions. - Required 3-5 years
• Knowledge of Cloudflare systems. - Desired 2-5 years
• Ability to determine work priorities. - Required 3-5 years
• Ability to perform the most complex information technology technician assignments. - Required 3-5 years
• Ability to work under stressful conditions. - Required 3-5 years
