Job Description:

• We’re seeking an experienced infrastructure & Dev Ops engineer professional familiar with Lean, Agile, and extreme Programming (XP) practices and extensive experience with GCP.
• Collaborating closely and continuously with fellow engineers, designers and product owners, you will help design, build, validate and release innovative cloud products early and often.

 
Skills Required:

• Cloud Infrastructure

 
Experience Required:

• Strong knowledge of Power BI
• Pair programming experience
• Strong knowledge of GCP core infrastructure experience in Cloud and on-prem tech stack.
• Experience working in GCP based Big Data deployments (Batch/Real-Time) leveraging Terraform, BigQuery, Bigtable, Google Cloud Storage, PubSub, Kafka, Data Fusion, Dataflow, Dataproc, Cloud Build, Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, Airflow, gsutil, Gcloud, Cloud Composer, Vertex AI & ML tools
• Experience with Docker, GitHub, Jenkins, Tekton and deploying applications on GCP
• Proficiency with test-driven development (TDD) and strong understanding of clean code concepts
• Strong working experience of Linux & windows environment/administration
• 5+ years of professional GCP engineering experience
• 3+ years of professional development experience with:
  • SQL/PLSQL
  • Python or similar Scripting language
  • Java or similar Object-Oriented languages
• 3+ years’ experience with continuous integration/continuous delivery tools and pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Tekton, Maven, Gradle, etc.)
• Proficiency in SQL-Based databases like Oracle, Teradata, Snowflake, Red Shift, Google Big Query etc.)
• Iterative development experience

 
Experience Preferred:

• 2+ years mentoring engineers
• In-depth software engineering knowledge
• Experience working with BI, ETL, Data Management tools (Informatica, IBM DataStage, QLIK, Looker)
• Knowledge of API development (RESTAPI)

 
Education Required:

• Bachelor's Degree

 
Education Preferred:

• Master's Degree
