Job Description:

• Identify evidence and collect from business owners to test controls.
• Schedule and lead meetings with owners informing them of what evidence to provide.
• Perform details assessment of policies, procedures and evidence; update where needed.
• Test controls based on evidence received.
• Identify any control failures and/or process improvements based on assessment results.
• Schedule and lead meetings with owners to review control failures and document remediation effort.
• Partner with management to develop action plans, manage and validate remediation effort.
• Manage a data request list (DRL) across 15-20 owners and 110 controls with multiple testing criteria.
• Organize, manage and store evidence utilizing Teams site in manner that is easily presented to auditors.
• Work closely with Information Security and Compliance Manager.
• Schedule meetings between external auditors and owners
• Document action items and minutes from meetings.
• Perform any additional job responsibilities requested by the Information Security and Compliance Manager
• Serve as a subject matter expert of applicable IT and cybersecurity standards.
• Take responsibility for completing multiple activities with competing priorities within timeframes as identified by manager.
• Prioritizing tasks according to risk and feedback from supervisor / management and bringing assignments to completion within established timeframes with limited supervision.

 
QUALIFICATIONS:
Skills/Work Experience Required

• Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Computer Science, or related field
• 5+ years of IT audit experience in professional services and/ or specific relevant IT internal audit industry experience
• CISA, CISSP, and/or CISM certification
• Experience with government cybersecurity regulations
• Experience with IT governance and control frameworks such as CMMC, NIST 800 series, and ISO 27001
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (MS Excel, MS Teams, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Word)
• Subject matter expert in IT concepts such as logical and physical security (including cloud-based), network, database, computer operations, and software development.

• Experience with Level 1 CMMC Self-Assessment Competencies
• Highly motivated and works independently
• strong organizational skills
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with ability to effectively communicate at all levels
