Business Intelligence Analyst #1022098
Job Description:

• This position is responsible for managing and enhancing our financial data management environment.
• The role requires the Business Intelligence Analyst to have a clear understanding of financial, business, functional, and technical data needs to support our data management strategy.
• In addition, the Business Intelligence Analyst will gather, analyze, and compile data needed to identify trends and patterns and make recommendations for actions based on the information

 
Accountability

• 60% - Business Analytics and Reporting / Dashboarding
• 40% - Data Management and Design

 
Basic Qualifications
BI Analytics and Reporting

• Collaborate with various internal and external teams to understand reporting needs, translating strategic business questions into resource/data requirements
• Own the design, development, and maintenance of ongoing metrics, reports, analyses, dashboards, etc. to support business transformation
• Develop dashboard requirements and transfer into rapidly developed prototypes and working solutions
• Compile business intelligence and trends to support actionable recommendations
• Work with and understand large relational databases
• Summarize financial and economic data reports for review by executives, managers, and stakeholders
• Strong analytical and reasoning skills; ability to breakdown complex problems and projects into manageable pieces; strong communication and presentation skills
• Assist in the preparation of management and financial reporting including financial statements, performance charts, tables and other analysis
• Assist in the design, preparation and coordination of budgets

 
Systems and Data Architecture Development

• Ability to leverage automation, cognitive and science-based techniques to manage data.
• Extensive experience width Microsoft suite, especially Excel and Power BI to assist with legacy reporting processes
• Experience with and ability to navigate big data environments and bring understanding of information to drive business results

 
Education & Experience:
Education

• BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Business Analytics,
• Master’s Degree preferred
• Relevant work experience to include 2-4 years Finance/Accounting and/or financial data analysis, BI Tools (Power BI Preferred), ERP Tools (SAP Preferred), EPM tool (SAP BPC preferred)

Experience

• Must be proficient with Microsoft Suite and Microsoft Power Platform especially Excel, PPT, Power BI and Power Automate
• Understanding of ERP systems and BI tools (SAP, Power BI)

 
Other Requirements:

• g. Working conditions, physical requirements, travel, etc.
• Infrequent travel for training or development meetings may be required (less than 10%)
