MES Solutions Architect #1019001
Job Description:
- The Solution Architect will own custom solutions based on the Syncora Digital Manufacturing Platform (Syncora DMPⓇ) for a specific customer.
- The architect will be responsible for developing business processes for the customer, leveraging Syncora standard solutions and applications to minimize custom development.
- This will allow for periodic Syncora upgrades and patches without putting the business solutions at risk.
Essential Duties: Accountability Architecture Review - Facilitate and conduct business and functional requirements gathering workshops
- Write Business Requirements Document (BRD), Functional Specifications Document (FSD), and client communications documentation
- Map both simple and complex business processes (AS-IS & TO-BE) and/or larger scope workflow
- Guide architecture decisions based on industry standards (ISA-95) and best practices
- Lead conversations and directives for the Syncora DMPⓇ team and facilitating Partners
Leadership & Mentorship: - Leading cross-functional teams, providing direction, and fostering a collaborative culture.
- Ability to mentor and develop less experienced team members

- Perform business process analysis
- Identify and drive Syncora DMPⓇ solutions
- Lead the development of future recommendations and conduct presentations to the customers and internal teams
- Become proficient in Syncora DMPⓇ including interfaces and integrations
- Use our standard methodology to document business processes
Testing - Lead end-user test case development
- Participate in and validate user acceptance testing
- Participate in analysis and recommendation of software solutions based on business requirements.
Operation Support - Lead day to day technical support of the customer solution to ensure it operates in an optimal mode
- Focus on the technical/functional architecture of a solution
- Partner with key Technology, business unit personnel, and key partners to identify the opportunity for improvement in all areas, including Syncora DMPⓇ Platform improvements
Security & Compliance Awareness: - Deep understanding of security practices and frameworks (e.g., NIST, OWASP) in the context of solution design.
- Knowledge of compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, SOC 2).
Competencies: - Bilingual English and Japanese skills for business communication will be an advantage and preferred

Primary Tasks - Utilize Syncora DMPⓇ to provide customers with technology solutions required to perform day to day business functions
- Document solution designs and support the development team in understanding and developing the design. Review technical development documents to ensure our standards are followed.
- Collaborates with internal and external business partners and has an advanced understanding of the customer’s business functions and current systems
- Manage integrated functionality and technology dependencies, usability, reliability, performance, and support requirements
- Verify the efficiency and effectiveness of the customer’s existing systems and develop strategies for improving those systems
- Connect with other Syncora DMPⓇ Process Analysts, and business analysts for planning, developing, designing, and implementing new applications and improving existing applications
- Understand and create business process flows
- Compiles and summarizes advanced organizational and process information from the business partner, including a good understanding of business terminology
- Adheres to IT standards and processes
- Assist in development and execution of Unit Testing, System Integration Testing, and User Acceptance Testing scripts
- Creates presentations and demonstrations of the solution for the customer
- Performs advanced master data collection tasks and leads in requirement gathering/collection
- Directs the creation of training documents/materials and leads business partners’ training sessions
- Recommends creative ways to solve advanced customers’ needs
- Works with customers to facilitate understanding of scope, in terms they can understand
- Train/Develop analysts
- May work on multiple projects as Subject Matter Expert (SME)
- Conduct Proof of Concept as new technologies are introduced.
Essential Qualifications: - Minimum 6+ years of experience in MES functional areas in one of the leading MESs (Siemens, Dassault Systems, GE, Rockwell, iBASEt, Critical Manufacturing)
- Expertise in manufacturing operations and corresponding business operations
- Ability to effectively communicate business and technical information with all levels of employees.
- Ability to consider enterprise issues while developing solutions.
- Advanced knowledge of the application of business workflow and requirements.
- Willing to travel up to 50%
