Property Maintenance Lecturer
Permanent | East London | £40,000–£51,300 per annum

We are seeking a Property Maintenance Lecturer with hands-on industry experience and a passion for developing the next generation of skilled trades professionals.

The Role
This is a permanent position within a well-established Construction provision. You will be delivering engaging and practical sessions in Property Maintenance to learners across a range of levels, supporting them to develop the knowledge, skills and behaviours required for successful careers in the sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality teaching and learning in Property Maintenance
• Prepare lesson plans and schemes of work in line with awarding body requirements
• Assess, track and support learner progress to ensure positive outcomes
• Provide pastoral and academic support to students
• Contribute to curriculum development and continuous quality improvement
• Maintain strong links with industry to ensure curriculum relevance

The Ideal Candidate

• Level 5 Teaching Qualification (or equivalent)
• Relevant trade qualification in Property Maintenance or associated discipline
• Experience delivering Property Maintenance in a further education setting
• Strong industry background within the construction or maintenance sector
• A commitment to inclusive practice and student success
