English Lecturer (Temporary Cover)

Location: Ofsted-rated 'Good' college in Northamptonshire​
Contract Type: Temporary, full-time (37 hours per week)​
Duration: Immediate start until February 13th
Pay Rate: £25-£30 per hour + 12.07% holiday pay

Role Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic GCSE English Lecturer to join our team on a temporary basis. You will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective English lessons to college students, ensuring they achieve their academic goals. This role is to cover a vacancy until the Easter break.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality GCSE English lessons that cater to a diverse student population.​
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.​
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance and achievements.​
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the English curriculum and participate in departmental meetings.​
• Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student engagement and success.​
