Health and Social Care Lecturer – FE College | North Yorkshire | £29.29/hr + 12.07% Holiday Pay

Think FE is working closely with a well-established and forward-thinking college in North Yorkshire, known for its inclusive ethos, excellent student support, and strong links with local health and social care employers. This college is now looking for a passionate and experienced Health and Social Care Lecturer to join their team on a long-term basis, starting as soon as possible.

The Role
You'll be delivering engaging and effective teaching across Level 1 to Level 3 Health and Social Care. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to student success and support learners in developing the skills they need to progress into further study or the workforce.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver Health and Social Care courses at Levels 1 to 3
• Prepare high-quality teaching materials in line with the curriculum
• Support and engage students from a wide range of backgrounds
• Monitor learner progress and maintain accurate records
• Collaborate with curriculum staff and leadership to ensure teaching excellence

Essential Criteria:

• Experience in health and social care sector
• Level 3 in health and social care
• A passion for teaching and inspiring students
• Some teaching experience of any kind

Desirable:

• Relevant degree or professional qualification in Health and Social Care
• Experience with classroom management and online delivery platforms
• Teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE, Cert Ed, or equivalent)
• Experience delivering Health and Social Care in an FE setting
