Role: Mechanical Engineering / Hand Fitting Tutor (Temp)
Location: Derbyshire
Hours: 27 per week (Mon–Fri)
Level: Teaching Level 2 & supporting Level 3
Start Date: ASAP

The Opportunity

An Ofsted-rated college in Derbyshire is looking for a temporary Hand Fitting & Mechanical Engineering Tutor to cover teaching and support duties while a permanent hire is secured.

You'll deliver Level 2 hand fitting workshops and support Level 3 Mechanical Engineering learners across 5 days. The college offers a well-equipped workshop, a supportive team, and a straightforward onboarding process.

What You Need

• Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering
• Teaching Qualification (highly desirable)
• Strong practical background in mechanical engineering
• Experience with hand fitting & safe workshop practices
• A current Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain)

  
Weekly Timetable

• Mon–Thu: 6 hours per day
• Fri: 3 hours
