The Role
The college is seeking an experienced Carpentry & Joinery Lecturer to deliver high-quality teaching to post‑16 learners. This temporary position is ideal for a skilled professional with a background in education and hands-on industry knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging lessons in both practical and theory-based Carpentry & Joinery.
• Support students with academic progress and employability skills.
• Maintain accurate records of student achievement.
• Ensure workshop safety and promote professional standards.

Essential Requirements

• Minimum Level 3 qualification in Carpentry & Joinery
• Previous teaching experience in a further education or training environment
• A recognised teaching qualification is desirable (or a willingness to work towards one) as is an assessor award
• Must be available to start in September
