Electrical & Maintenance Engineering Lecturer

Salary: £30K-£43K per annum
Location: Middlesbrough
Contract: Full-Time, Permanent
Annual Leave: 45 days + statutory bank holidays + Teachers pension (28.68% employer contribution)


Think FE are delighted to partner with a leading college in Middlesbrough to recruit a passionate Electrical & Maintenance Engineering Lecturer. This role is perfect for experienced professionals from the electrical or maintenance engineering industry or qualified teachers with relevant expertise.

About the Role You will:

• Plan and deliver a wide range of engaging, relevant, and challenging learning experiences.
• Prepare learners with the skills, knowledge, and behaviours needed for success in education, work, and life.
• Teach across qualifications such as Pearson Level 3 BTECs and City & Guilds Level 3 T Levels, particularly the T Level in Maintenance, Installation, and Repair for Engineering and Manufacturing (Electrical and Electronic).
• Deliver both classroom and workshop-based learning.

What We're Looking For:

• A minimum of a Level 3 qualification in Electrical or Maintenance Engineering.
• Ideally a qualified teacher/assessor or be willing to work towards this.
• Bring relevant industry knowledge or teaching experience to the classroom.
• You must be happy to undergo an enhance DBS check including the Child Barred list
