Applied Science Lecturer (Chemistry) – Level 3

£220-£260 per day + 12.07% holiday pay (PAYE, weekly)
Part-time | 14.5 hours per week | Tuesday 9-4, Thursday 9-4.30

Are you a dedicated Science Lecturer with a strong background in Chemistry? Join a well-established further education college in Greater Manchester and play a key role in delivering engaging Applied Science lessons at Level 3.

About the Role As an Applied Science Lecturer, you will be responsible for:

• Delivering high-quality teaching in Level 3 Chemistry
• Developing lesson plans and resources to enhance student learning
• Monitoring student progress and maintaining accurate records
• Supporting students to achieve their academic goals

What We’re Looking For

• A degree in Chemistry or a related subject
• A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE or equivalent)
• Experience teaching Level 3 Applied Science (Chemistry)
• Strong ICT skills, ideally with experience using interactive whiteboards and Microsoft Office
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• A passion for inspiring students and raising their aspirations
