About the Role As an A Level Physics Lecturer, you will be responsible for:
- Delivering engaging lessons aligned with the A Level curriculum
- Developing lesson plans and resources to enhance student learning
- Monitoring student progress and maintaining accurate records
- Contributing to department planning and quality assurance
- Providing pastoral support as a tutor to a designated group of students
- Communicating effectively with students, parents, and external stakeholders
What We’re Looking For - A degree in Physics (candidates with an Engineering background or Level 3 qualification may be considered)
- A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE or equivalent)
- Experience teaching A Level Physics in a college or secondary school setting
- Strong ICT skills, ideally with experience using interactive whiteboards and Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A passion for motivating students and raising their aspirations
