About the opportunity
We’re seeking a Web Content Publisher on a 12-month max term contract with HTML experience to support the Content team with publishing high-quality content on Healthdirect’s national websites and platforms. In this role, you’ll manage publishing workflows and optimise content for accessibility. In addition, you’ll manage assets and ensure content is accurate, compliant and optimised for search engines (SEO). You’ll collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve publishing discrepancies and contribute to continuous improvements in content quality and production processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Upload and publish digital content and assets in line with project plans and priorities
- Format, edit and structure content in accordance with templates, inline code libraries and editorial guidelines
- Optimise content for search engines (SEO), generative AI tools (GEO/AIO), and accessibility standards
- Manage tasks and workflows using JIRA, Confluence and SharePoint
- Coordinate content production and publishing activities in collaboration with the broader internal team
You’ll bring - Demonstrated experience and knowledge of HTML
- Proven experience in content management and digital publishing
- Proven experience in SEO, Authoring Tools, Content Management Systems (CMS) and Digital Asset Management systems (DAM)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to content quality
- Ability to take initiative and work cross functionally across teams
- A sound understanding of digital user experience (UX) principles and technologies.
