About the Role
Based at our South Guildford offices, we are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Production Administrator to join our team. In this role, you will coordinate and manage daily production activities across multiple manufacturing sites, ensuring smooth and efficient operations. You will be responsible for processing work orders, managing raw material usage, reconciling stock, and maintaining accurate production records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and manage work orders across multiple production sites, ensuring accurate raw material calculations and data entry.
- Ensure accurate entry and tracking of raw material dockets, maintaining digital records and liaising with suppliers for missing documentation.
- Coordinate shipping and logistics, validating shipping data and processing stock returns.
- Participate in quarterly stocktakes as a Finance Team representative.
- Prepare and reconcile end-of-month reports on work orders, raw material usage, and stock adjustments.
- Check physical stock counts against system records, collaborating with the Production Accountant and Finance Manager for adjustments.
- Process and track price changes.
- Provide accurate reports and data to support Finance, Analytics, and other business stakeholders.
- Assist in invoicing tasks and ensure all relevant financial documents are stored and processed correctly.
Skills and Experience: To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Experience in production coordination, stock management, or finance-related manufacturing roles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, Microsoft Excel, and other reporting tools.
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams, including production, finance, and logistics.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong communication skills to liaise with suppliers, finance teams, and manufacturing staff.
