About the Role
  
Great opportunity for a Graduate wanting to start their career with a market leader.  Seeking a self motivated, flexible, curious and positive individual to join our business. Located at our South Guildford and Middle Swan sites, you will gain experience across various Midland Brick departments such as technical, clay extraction, engineering and production to gain experience in the overall business operation.
  
Your role will include:

• Supporting laboratory staff and technical department in QC testing and maintaining high standards of production,
• Assisting in investigations for quality issues, analysing root causes, and developing solutions,
• Assisting the engineering/production team and gaining experience in operations of Midland Brick,
• Working on and assisting implementation of process improvement projects,
• Working alongside the technical manager to maintain production QC sheets, databases and trial records,
• Building rapport with internal and external stakeholders,
• Working effectively within various teams to meet operational needs.

Skills and Experience:

• Completed Tertiary Engineering Qualifications (ideally chemical, process or mechanical discipline),
• Commitment to promoting safety, quality, and environmental compliance on site,
• Good level of IT proficiency, computer literacy, MS Office Suite,
• Current WA driver’s licence,
• Ability to work autonomously but also contribute to a strong team environment,
• Strong demonstrated analytical skills,
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
