This position is a key member of the finance team, responsible for the effective processing and reconciliation of all Midland Brick invoices, expenses and supplier accounts received.
Your role will include:
- Accurate invoice processing, matching, batching and coding;
- Reconciliation of supplier vendor statements;
- Support accountants in end of month processing and schedules;
- Onboarding of new suppliers & maintaining supplier data
- Processing EFT and cheque payments; and
- General Administration assistance to the finance team.
Skills and Experience: - A minimum of 5 years’ experience as an Accounts Payable Officer or similar;
- Proficient MS Office skills with Intermediate Excel skills;
- Fast and accurate data entry
- Excellent written and verbal skills;
- Great organisational skills and the ability to prioritise competing deadlines;
- Be customer focused, results orientated, have a passion for excellence and a can-do attitude; and
- Demonstrated ability to develop effective working relationships within a team environment.
