Join a trusted name in the bricks and masonry industry and help shape the future of our operations. We are seeking a motivated and capable Project Supervisor to lead and deliver key projects that support business growth, enhance safety, drive operational efficiency, and optimise asset management.
About the Role
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the Project Supervisor will play a critical role in supervising site-based projects across our operations. This role will oversee contractor performance, ensure compliance with safety requirements, and deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the highest standard.
Your role will include:
- Supervise contractors on Midland Brick sites and ensure compliance with safety and performance expectations.
- Coordinate project schedules, updating weekly and monthly programs.
- Collaborate with the Engineering Manager on technical reviews, planning, and procurement.
- Develop and manage project budgets and ensure cost control throughout execution.
- Manage ITPs (Inspection and Test Plans) and assist with Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS).
- Lead project handovers, including finalising Operations & Maintenance (O&M) documentation.
- Prepare and define scope, deliverables, and project execution methodology.
- Act as the main point of contact for subcontractors and suppliers regarding technical queries.
- Ensure contractual obligations are met while fostering collaborative relationships.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders across various departments to ensure smooth project delivery.
Skills and Experience: - Commitment to promoting safety, quality, and environment compliance on site;
- Exceptional technical skill and problem solving ability;
- Strong experience in safety leadership.
- Ability to effectively lead small and large teams.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Computer literacy, MS Office Suite;
- The ability to foster strong client relationships;
- Proven ability to meet strict deadlines; and
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Current Drivers Licence.
