About the Role
Based in South Guildford, Midland Brick is seeking a full time permanent Accounts Receivable Team Leader to join our team. This position is a key member of the finance team, responsible for managing and leading a team of Accounts Receivable clerks, cashiers and being responsible for the maintenance of customer accounts.
Your role will include:
- Leading the accounts Receivable function of the company
- Ensuring all month end functions are complete
- Assisting in all month end reporting
- Manage AR Team to ensure all queries are resolved and communicated in a timely fashion
- Perform rebate reconciliations
- Drive process improvements and efficiency into the AR function, ensuring common processes are applied to all agencies and leading practices are adopted through staff training and system enhancements
- Management of light fleet vehicles
- Tracking of leases of Heavy vehicles
- Liaising with HO on all Leasing arrangements and changes
Skills and Experience: - Previous experience in a similar role
- Analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to think critically
- Proficient MS Office skills with Intermediate to advanced Excel skills;
- Excellent written and verbal skills, ability to communicate at all organisational levels
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy; and
- Demonstrated ability to develop effective working relationships within a team environment.
