About the role;
This role offers an opportunity for an experienced heavy vehicle service technician to expand their skills in heavy vehicle mechanics. Alternatively, a qualified heavy vehicle mechanic can work closely with the lead mechanic, contributing to the workshop's growth.
Your primary focus will be diagnosing, servicing, repairing, and maintaining our fleet, which includes Volvo, MAN, Mercedes, and Kenworth trucks, as well as Jamieson and Convair tankers, various Howard Porter trailers, JCB and Manitou telehandlers, and tippers.
- 5:2 rotating roster - 2 weeks 6am start, 1 week 2pm start.
- Overtime available with allowances = increased remuneration
- Local, family oriented, workshop in Hazelmere.
- Paid training.

Requirements; - Proven experience working with heavy vehicles or industrial equipment in a workshop environment.
- Relevant mechanical trade certificate qualification (Preferred)
- Experience with drum and disc brakes, servicing, welding, and basic electrical work.
- Commitment to health, safety, and quality standards in all work practices.
- A current driver’s licence
- Ability to complete a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screening.
