A fantastic opportunity for an Electrical Engineer to join a leading building services provider on one of their established contracts in Southend-on-Sea. Working for a market leader in building services maintenance, this role offers the successful engineer the chance to work as part of a stable and supportive maintenance team, with genuine opportunities for further training and career development.
 
The role will involve planned and reactive maintenance, remedial works, and supporting the day-to-day operation of the site. This is a Monday to Friday position, 8 AM to 5 PM. The successful candidate will be Electrically biased, holding City & Guilds / NVQ qualifications, with at least 3 years' experience in building services maintenance.

Duties

• Carrying out PPMs & Reactive maintenance
• Working with Single and Three Phase Power, Motors, Emergency Lighting, Fire Alarm Testing, AHUs, FCUs, VAVs, Pumps and general building services plant
• Supporting Health & Safety compliance on site
• Completing logbooks, risk assessments and permits to work
• Liaising with subcontractors and assisting with quotations when required

Requirements

• City & Guilds / NVQ (or equivalent) qualification in Electrical Installations
• Experience in building services maintenance (minimum 3 years)
• Career-driven and motivated, with a positive approach
• Polite, personable and able to work well within a team

Salary and Benefits

• £38,000 - £42,000 per annum
• Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM
