We've got a brilliant opportunity for a Mechanical Engineer to work within an iconic, flagship site based in Canary Wharf. This is a static position, following a split shift system (7am - 4pm and 10am - 7pm).

As a Mechanical Engineer, you will carry out PPM and reactive maintenance on mechanical systems, actively fault find / troubleshoot, liaise with subcontractors, respond to emergencies, maintain a client facing attitude and represent the client in a positive manner.

Mechanical Engineer Duties:

• PPM (Planned preventative maintenance) & Reactive maintenance
• AHUs
• FCUs
• Pumps - Bearings, Mechanical Seals
• Sprinkler Systems
• Water Treatment (Tap Tests, Dosing, Cooling Tower Checks, etc).
• Tap Temperatures
• Chilled Water Systems
• Plumbing
• Generators
• Pressurisation units
• BMS Operation

Mechanical Engineer Requirements:

• Mechanically qualified to City & Guilds Level 3 or NVQ (or equivalent)
• Apprentice trained - desirable
• Building Services Maintenance experience
• Very Client facing

Salary and Package:

• £45,000 - £50,000 per annum 
• Monday - Friday, 7am - 4pm and 10am - 7pm 
• 15% pension scheme
