Maintenance Plumber

£43,000 – £45,000 per annum

Our client, one of London’s largest privately-owned building services providers – is currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Plumber to join their team at a flagship commercial site in Liverpool street. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable experience and progress your career within a leading organisation. In this role, you’ll be responsible for delivering a full range of commercial plumbing and water treatment tasks, working on a static Monday to Friday (8:00am – 5:00pm).

In this role, you’ll be responsible for a mix of planned and reactive maintenance tasks, focusing solely on the landlord areas of high-end commercial properties. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, client-facing environment and wants to build a long-term career in building services.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Carry out PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance) and reactive plumbing works within commercial office spaces.
• Diagnose and repair issues with pumps, pipework, water systems, sanitary ware, drainage, and hot/cold water systems.
• Assist in mechanical maintenance tasks as part of a wider building services team.
• Provide excellent customer service to building occupants and clients.
• Complete all work in accordance with health & safety regulations and company procedures.

Requirements:

• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing & Heating (or equivalent).
• At least 3 years’ experience in a commercial maintenance environment.
• Strong knowledge of commercial plumbing systems.
• Good understanding of health and safety.
• Full right to work in the UK.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
