Electrical Engineer

We've got a stand out role for an Electrical Engineer to join a well renowned, long standing building service provider based in Canary Wharf! This is great opportunity to work on a flagship site, as part of a well experienced maintenance team, receive on-going training and to progress further within your career!

For this Electrical Engineer role, you will complete Planed Preventive (PPM) and Reactive maintenance on electrical systems, maintain mechanical systems, update site logbooks, respond to emergencies, act as a point of contact to the client and ensure the site's plant equipment is running efficiently.

Electrical Engineer Duties:

• Carry out  PPM and reactive maintenance tasks
• Single & Three Phase Power systems, Motors, Emergency Lighting, Fire Alarms, Pumps, and BMS
• Safely isolate plant and systems when required
• Ensure all repairs and corrective works meet current regulations and standards
• Promote and adhere to safe working practices and procedures
• Maintain accurate records, including RAMS and logbooks
• Manage tasks via PDA system – raising and closing jobs as needed

Electrical Engineer Requirements;

• Qualified in electrical engineering or installations (City & Guilds, EAL, NVQ or equivalent/higher)
• Minimum of 3 years’ commercial maintenance experience
• Great knowledge of commercial M&E plant and systems
• Must live within commutable distance to Canary Wharf
• Proactive, professional, and reliable approach to work

Salary and Package:

• £55,000 per annum 
• 4 on / 4 off shift pattern (7am - 7pm)
